Deposit and Cancellation Policies
Keeping you safe- At the Retreats we literally treat you like family because we and our families vacation in the same cabins. In response to COVID-19, our friends and property managers at White Iron Beach Resort have new policies to help us all enjoy time at the lake.
We’ve Increased Cleaning Frequency- we pay attention to the small details. This includes wiping down light switches, remotes, and other commonly used surfaces multiple times a day.
Triple Sheeting- is a comfortable and highly sanitary solution that guarantees that your bed is CLEAN AND FRESH. All sheets are washed after each guest visit or daily based on need.
We don’t allow staff on site who have any symptoms of fever and cough.
We provide ample hand washing and anti-bacterial facilities for all guests.
We conduct a verbal briefing for all guests reminding them to be mindful about hygiene practices & courtesy for other guests.
We always allow guests to reschedule without losing money should the situation change.
Helping you plan- Effective 3/21/20 and until further notice our deposit cancellation policy has been modified to help our guests plan vacations during this uncertain time.
A deposit equal to 30% of the cabin rental fee (minimum $300) is required to secure your reservation. But we have made two changes so that no one will lose their deposit.
First, the time to cancel with only a $25 service fee has been reduced from 60 days to 30 days. Second, if you cancel within the 30 days before your arrival and we do not rebook your cabin for the same time period then we will carry over your deposit for a future stay in this current year, 2021, or 2022. If we do rebook the cabin then you can choose to have your deposit carried over for a future stay or have it returned minus the $25 service fee.
We may modify this policy further as the situation changes around Minnesota and the country.
Short term stays- are allowed but have restrictions especially during our prime season from the Middle of June through August. Stays that affect two of our normal rental weeks (Saturday to Saturday) can be especially hard to accommodate. Please call and we always will do what we can to make it work.
